OZHARVEST
Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown is partnering with OzHarvest for our annual food donation drive.
This drive aims to encourage our local community to donate food items to support families in need. OzHarvest is one of Australia’s leading food rescue organisations that collects quality excess food from commercial outlets, delivering the donations directly to more than 1,500 charities. With their underlying purpose to nourish the country, OzHarvest has delivered over 250 million meals to those in need since 2004.
From now until the 31st of December, donation boxes are located outside Coles and Woolworths. Customers are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items such as a canned items, pasta, cereal, biscuits, rice and lifelong milk. OzHarvest will distribute all donations to those in need. Let’s all come together and help OzHarvest make a difference this season.
HOW TO DONATE:
Purchase non-perishable food items and place them in the donation boxes.
When: October 1st – December 31st
Where: Outside Coles and Woolworths
